Cursor Community (Madrid)

As Cursor Madrid Ambassador since ~May 2025, I run meetups, cafés, and hackathons in Madrid. This page is a visual log of those events. More context and photos: LinkedIn.

    2nd Cursor Meetup

    Partners Tinybird and Kfund. Talks, hallway conversations, and hands-on learning.

    • getshell.ai — shell-based agent workflows (OpenClaw) demoed for builders.
    • Cursor — Cloud Agents, long-running workflows, and the product direction (cursor.com/onboard).

  2. ~Feb 2026

    Café Cursor

    All-day casual coworking at a café: people shipped their own projects, met other Cursor users, and talked shop — no talk track, no demos.

    Venue eito with three zones (main workspace, quieter back, upstairs hub).

    Cursor engineers on-site for debugging and Q&A.

    Cursor Hackathon × HappyRobot × Kibo Ventures

    Challenge: integrate a HappyRobot AI agent into a working product using Cursor.

    Winners

    1. TravelBot — corporate travel end to end (stays, transport, dining).
    2. MedTracker — automated daily calls to elderly relatives for medication check-ins.
    3. Santa's Call — Santa calls your kid about behavior and wish lists.

    First Cursor Hackathon (Madrid)

    Partners Enzo Ventures, OneCoWork, productmakers.ai. We opened with a build block; good turnout and a waitlist.

    Theme: gamification — ~2 hours to ship with Cursor.

    Winners

    1. RoomieScore — chores, expenses, and co-living for roommates.
    2. FocoQuest — productivity as missions and progression.
    3. FinPlay — personal finance made visual.
