# SpaceXAI Ambassadors

After Cursor joined SpaceX, the community program became SpaceXAI Ambassadors. Grok Bot meetups are the next format.

First Cursor event in Galicia, all day at La Terraza by Finisterre. Hosted with Jorge Teixeira and Juanjo do Olmo; David Gomes (morning) and Luís Tavares (afternoon) from the SpaceXAI team flew in for Q&A on Grok Bot, Grok 4.6, and the editor roadmap. 139 confirmed, 105+ attended (about 60–65 in the morning session). Coffee and pastry were free; local merch covered a customs delay. People came from Madrid, Jaén, across Galicia, and a few from Belgium.

First Cursor Community event outside Madrid. Hosted with Juan Lopez Salaberry at Aethos Club Palma: a short Cursor masterclass, community demos, and networking. Cursor credits for check-ins.

Hosted with Juan Mugica Gonzalez and Xuban Ceccon in Chamberí. About 130 people. Theme: ship the most fun project possible with Cursor, with a focus on computer vision (Canvas, video, images) and LibreYOLO for body-tracking demos.

Winners

1. Mog Off — splitscreen minigames with EyeToy-style energy.
2. MemeBongo — drums and music from body movement.
3. Meme Ninja — Fruit Ninja with memes, powered by body tracking.

Became Cursor Community Regional Lead for Europe. I supported local organizers and helped connect events across the region.

Hosted with Tinybird and Kfund. Talks from both teams led into product demos and hallway conversations.

• getshell.ai showed shell-based agent workflows with OpenClaw.
• Cursor showed Cloud Agents and the onboarding flow.

An all-day coworking session at eito. People worked on their own projects and asked Cursor engineers for debugging help. There was no stage or talk schedule.

The cafe had a main workspace, a quieter back room, and an upstairs area.

The challenge was to integrate a HappyRobot AI agent into a working product using Cursor.

Winners

1. TravelBot handled corporate stays, transport, and dining.
2. MedTracker called elderly relatives for daily medication check-ins.
3. Santa's Call called children about their behavior and wish lists.

Hosted with Enzo Ventures, OneCoWork, and productmakers.ai. Teams had about two hours to build a gamified product with Cursor.

Winners

1. RoomieScore covered chores, expenses, and co-living for roommates.
2. FocoQuest turned personal tasks into missions and progression.
3. FinPlay made personal finance visual.

Hosted at Google for Startups Madrid with Takos. Community lightning talks and project demos from attendees.

Joined the community program as Cursor Madrid Ambassador and began organizing meetups and workshops with local coworkings and universities.

TechIE and Cursor brought a student hackathon to an IE University auditorium. The room filled with teams building in Cursor.

A Saturday at Matadero Madrid with morning talks, a hackathon of about 15 teams, and an afternoon community session. Cursor sponsored the event.

HackSpain 2026 is listed as a 24-hour Madrid hackathon for more than 300 builders. The published program includes a machine-learning track with free compute and a non-technical track for first-time builders. Cursor is listed as a sponsor.

Invited guest at Compile London, Cursor's Compile on the Road day of talks, demos, and conversation. Sessions covered AI deployments at scale, chalk talks (including David Gomes), shipping velocity, and a Grok Bot workshop, followed by a networking reception.
